I made a bunny!

It looks like crap but I like it anyway. :)

Crocheted with acrylic (I don’t recommend it, get merino wool instead) on a 4.5 needle. Search for lop bunny on Ravelry for the free pattern. It took me about 5 hours, but I reckon you could do it faster with a nicer yarn.

Today was lovely. I think I’m recovering quickly from the flu I’ve had this week – which turns out not to be a flu but more likely a tummy virus. Mm, more germs to learn about. We had sushi train + dim sum for lunch. Yamato in Claremont does it well.

Popped to Bunnings and found a random animal display featuring a dog, snake, two turtles, some mollusc and a pair of tawny frogmouth owls. This one liked getting a scratch on the head. ^__^

Found a little project bag at the salvos, $8 bargain! It’s a Kiva handbag, near perfect condition, and fits one and a half small craft projects. Which is great for helping me stop the habit of buying heaps of stuff for a million project ideas, then never getting round to any of them. I want to focus more, take a more disciplined approach so I don’t fail so often or burn out from going too hard.

BE MODERATE WITH ALL THE THINGS!

My next crochet piece is an octopus.

Today was my last day of my Project 365 too, which turned out to be 366 because it was a leap year. So, it’s been a year. I feel more confident about committing to stuff and would recommend silly little projects like that to anyone needing motivation practice.

It’s bedtime now. Night night. :)
