Looking at pictures before getting on with my day
I would love to just go back to sleep, but this half day is all mine and there’s a town of nice surprises to explore. For fully grown adults, we’re too like cats being herded when it comes to making plans and going places. The house finally returned to silence once the ski-&-snowboard rabble left. Now here I am, enjoying some quiet contemplation before a shower and perhaps some shopping.
A few photos from the last couple of days:
Extreme cable car!!
I love the Twin Peaks vibe of this town. This pic was from the lookout at the top of the cable car mountain.
Carl walking to town. We just passed an 18 hole Frisbee golf course through the park. Very fun sport. Stretch your arms and shoulders before you play, particularly on cold days.
View from the park. The picture is sweeter if you imagine the couple are two lesbians in love, but they’re probably just friends and the guy to the left isn’t a perv.
Man St., Queenstown.
View from Hole 9 on Frisbee golf course.
Home soon. I wish there was a way to be on holiday forever, except with my cats.
